IDIYAPPAM

Idiyappam                                          Portion Size;- 4

Sno                  Ingredients                 Quantity
1)                        Rice flour                    1 cup ( 200 gm approx.)
2)                        Water                          1.5 cup
3)                        Coconut                       ½
4)                        Salt                              to taste
5)                        Oil                               2 tspn


Methods


1)      In a pot, boil water along with salt and oil.
2)      Once the water begin to boil, switch off the flame, add rice flour and mix immediately.
3)      Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes, knead the dough lightly.
4)      Fill the mixture in idiyapppam maker, take out the strands in idli maker.
5)      Grate coconut and fill in the centre.
6)      Steam for around 10 minutes.

7)      Serve along with sambhar and coconut chutney.
